Bob's Sturdy Market Basket

This market basket is taught with the permission of the designer and pattern writer, Susan Coyle.  The name says it all.  The base is woven with three quarter inch spokes no more than a quarter inch apart.  This may make the first three rows more difficult than weavers have experienced before.  The tightly woven base and solid five eighths inch half round outside rim give this market basket the sturdiness of its namesake – Bob (as in Coyle).  The push in 14” handle finishes the project.  Students will have limited choice for color selection and may not complete the basket during the class.
